New Delhi, August 5, 2025 — The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) under Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the Round 2 seat allotment result for 2025 B.Tech/B.Arch courses today. Candidates can now view their allotted institute and branch on the official portal: uptac.admissions.nic.in.
The allotment is based on JEE Main 2025 ranks, choices submitted, and reservation categories. Following the result, candidates have until August 7, 2025, to pay the seat acceptance fee and indicate their willingness via the Freeze or Float options.([turn0search0]turn0search4]turn0search8]

Round 1 Seat Allotment: July 30 | Fee payment: July 30–Aug 1
Round 2 Choice Filling & Locking: August 2–3

Fees & Options After Allocation
Seat Acceptance Fee: ₹20,000 (General/OBC); ₹12,000 (SC/ST)
Freeze: Accept allotted seat and exit further rounds (category upgrades may still apply)
Float: Hold allotted seat but remain eligible for higher preference in later rounds
Withdrawal: Exit counselling process entirely and receive refund per policy
