Hyderabad: The Grand Finale of TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) 2023-24 witnessed the triumph of the Pawjour team, comprising students from diverse educational backgrounds. Gowtham (Raj Bhavan Govt. School), Maria (MRMR Govt. Junior College), Mithul (Oakridge International), Chaturya (Raj Bhavan Govt. School), and Anirudh (Vista International) secured the top spot with their innovative pet-friendly initiative.

The winning team was honoured with medals and souvenirs, presented by Srini Chandupatla, President of TiE Hyderabad. Notably, another team, showcasing a concept on urbanization and mobility, including Fauzaan (Nasr School), Akshara (Raj Bhavan Govt. School), Shiven (Obul Reddy), and Chirusritha (Raj Bhavan Govt. School), received the Best Elevator Pitch Award.

A distinctive feature of this edition was including a government school student in each team, promoting inclusivity and encouraging entrepreneurship among students from different educational backgrounds.

TiE Young Entrepreneurs, a program dedicated to cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit among high school students, took place through phased activities, including mentoring by TiE Charter Members and industry professionals. The Grand Finale hosted five teams from various schools, showcasing their entrepreneurial ideas to the jury.

Speaking at the event, TiE Hyderabad Chapter President Srini Chandupatla emphasized the program's impact, designed and executed by serial entrepreneurs who are TiE Charter Members. The mentoring process involved industry leaders such as Hari Bharadwaj, Dr. Balaji Bhyravbhatla, Viiveck Verma, Raj Samala, and Sakhti Chevuturi.

The success of the program was credited to the TYE Committee led by N. Venkatesh, Subbaraju Pericharla, and Sri Charan Lakkaraju, fostering an environment conducive to creativity and innovation.

This year marks a significant milestone for TiE Hyderabad, completing 25 years of nurturing entrepreneurship, and celebrating its Silver Jubilee. The Grand Finale drew over 100 attendees, including students, parents, jury members, educators, entrepreneurs, and TiE Charter Members.
