Sri City holds CSR programmes in govt schools
Six portable generators donated to District Fire Department. A sum of Rs 5.5 lakh was spent

Hyderabad: Aspart of their ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the Sri City Foundation, in collaboration with the Sri City Japanese Companies Group (SJCG) and THK Industries, organised a series of welfare programs on Friday.
At Cherivi Government Primary School (Satyavedu Mandal) and Naganandapuram Government Primary School (Varadayyapalem Mandal), SJCG contributed sports equipment worth Rs2 lakh. The donation included outdoor play items such as swings, slide, seesaw, etc, much to the delight of the children. Representatives from SJCG—Takeshi Ogawa (Miyama Electric India), Magoshi (ALSOK), Tomita (Aisan), Uchida (Daiki Aluminium), Komori (Daiki Aluminium), and Rajeev (IMOP)—joined the students, encouraging them and participating in the games.
In another initiative, THK Industries donated six portable generators worth Rs3.5 lakh to the District Fire Department, intended for use during any emergencies to power essential lighting. The handover ceremony was held at the Sri City Fire Station, where Makoto Sado (Deputy Managing Director, THK) and Purushothaman (General Manager, HR, THK) formally handed over the generators to District Fire Officer Ramanayya, in the presence of Satyavedu Fire Officer Rajayya, Sri City Security Chief Ramesh, and staff from THK and Sri City Foundation.
Commending the efforts, Nireesha Sannareddy, Director (CSR), Sri City appreciated the proactive role of SJCG and THK in strengthening local infrastructure. She noted that the active participation of industries has significantly improved facilities in government schools across the region. She also highlighted that Sri City industries consistently extend support during times of disaster, reaffirming their commitment to community welfare. She assured that more such initiatives will be undertaken in the future.
