Hyderabad: Government schools in Ramapuram village of Tada mandal have undergone a significant transformation with the support of India Metal One Steel Plate Processing (IMOP) Pvt. Ltd., a Sri City–based industry. Through a focused CSR initiative facilitated by the Sri City Foundation, IMOP upgraded key infrastructure at the ZP High School and the Model Primary School, creating a safer and more conducive learning environment.
Students had long faced difficulties due to incomplete classrooms, inadequate toilets, and partially developed facilities. Addressing these gaps, IMOP invested Rs 27.5 lakh under its CSR programme. The works included construction of a new building, completion of seven stalled classrooms, renovation of toilets, kitchen and compound wall, and provision of desks and benches in classrooms.
The new facilities were formally inaugurated on Thursday by IMOP Managing Director Taizo Iwami, in the presence of Nireesha Sannareddy, Director (CSR), Sri City, and senior IMOP officials. Speaking on the occasion, Iwami said IMOP would continue to support initiatives that strengthen basic infrastructure in local educational institutions. Appreciating IMOP’s commitment, Nireesha said that proactive industry participation, aligned with Sri City’s special initiatives, has led to substantial improvement in infrastructure across government schools in the region. She urged students to leverage the enhanced facilities for better academic progress.
Tada MEOs Vemula and Mallikharjuna, headmistresses Madhavi and Parijathamma, teachers, and local residents attended the programme and expressed gratitude to the Sri City Foundation and IMOP.
