1. Madhya Pradesh

2. Bihar
Schools were closed from September 27 to October 2 for Durga Puja and Navratri.
In some districts, the break extended till October 5, encompassing October 3 as well.
3. Telangana
One of the longest holiday breaks through Dasara is from September 21 to October 3, 13 days in all.
4. Karnataka
Schools in Karnataka remain shut from September 20 to October 6. One among the longest Dussehra vacations in the country.
5. Andhra Pradesh
The closure starts on September 22 and continues till October 2 for Dussehra holidays.
Some institutions might remain closed on October 3 in case of local declarations.
6. Odisha
Schools were closed from September 29 to October 2 for Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti.

7. Uttar Pradesh
