Pre-promotional classes kickstart for PSGIC officers

Mumbai, Dec 04: Delhi Insurance Institute (DII) has kickstarted the special pre-promotional classes for the officers’ appearing for promotional examination, being conducted by GIPSA and scheduled to be held on December 17. The classes began on December 02 and would continue until December 10.

The classes would be conducted by the experienced faculty members, comprising working/retired officials of the public sector general insurance companies.

Talking to Bizz Buzz, Satish Kumar Jindal, Hon Secretary, Delhi Insurance Institute says, “This time. We are providing training to nearly 50 officials of the state-run general insurers and who are aspiring promotions. Last year 48 officials had availed of the pre-promotional classes and 80 per cent of them had made it.”

The institute is the one among 91 such institutions n the country which ate affiliated by Insurance Institute of India which boasts of having 3,52,000 members under its fold. The institute provides three types of courses including licenciate, associate and fellowship.

Trilok Singh, General Secretary, General Insurance Employees' All India Association (GIEAIA), says, “We whole heartedly appreciate the hard and sincere work of Delhi Insurance Institute for conducting such important classes and support them for their noble work.”

The officers who come here for pre-promotional classes include the aspirants for promotion to various positions upto Scale V.
