Niti Aayog recognises 20 students & mentors

The global business school in Hyderabad, Indian School of Business (ISB) said its 20 students along with their mentors who introduced innovative digital products were felicitated at the 'Mentor India Round Table,' hosted by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), Niti Aayog in New Delhi. Further, a coffee table book, "The Ingenious Tinkerpreneurs," was launched featuring the top 20 ideas, during the event.

Niti Aayog recognises 20 students & mentors

Hyderabad The global business school in Hyderabad, Indian School of Business (ISB) said its 20 students along with their mentors who introduced innovative digital products were felicitated at the 'Mentor India Round Table,' hosted by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), Niti Aayog in New Delhi. Further, a coffee table book, "The Ingenious Tinkerpreneurs," was launched featuring the top 20 ideas, during the event.

The top 20 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) students and teams were handheld at Atal Catalysts @ISB. Last year, I-Venture@ISB collaborated with AIM to launch Atal Catalysts@ISB for transforming Tinkerpreneurs (ideas from students) into Digipreneurs (digital product entrepreneurs). I-Venture@ISB is the centre which fosters entrepreneurship and nurtures startups.

Parameswaran Iyer, CEO, Niti Aayog, Dr Chintan Vaishnav, Mission Director, AIM and Indian athlete Anju Bobby George were present at the event.

Under the programme, top 100 ATL Tinkerpreneurs out of 9,000 applications, were given individual mentoring from ISB alumni experts. The students were trained with real-world business and entrepreneurial skills to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and take their products to market. Finally, the top 20 students - teams pitched their ideas to a panel of VCs and corporates at "The Big Pitch," where 10 students-teams received sponsorship to take their product to the market.
