Asks Sri City pupil to take full advantage of today’s digital learning opportunities

Hyderabad: Renowned talk show host and literary scholar Kiranprabha encouraged students to take full advantage of today’s digital learning opportunities, noting how dramatically the educational landscape has changed. “When we were students, such facilities were limited. Today, computer education, online learning tools such as ChatGPT, and inspiring resources are easily accessible. Students must use these resources wisely to succeed,” he said.
He delivered a special lecture here recently at the Irugulam Zilla Parishad High School, near Sri City. Stressing that discipline is the cornerstone of student life, Kiranprabha urged students to pursue education with dedication, proper time management, and determination. He advised them to avoid harmful habits and unproductive distractions, and instead channel their energy into creativity and learning. While acknowledging the usefulness of mobile phones, he cautioned against their overuse and recommended restricting them to educational purposes.
During an interactive session, students sought his views on the differences between Indian and American education systems. He explained that the US system places greater emphasis on creativity rather than textbooks and examinations, while observing that India’s educational standards have improved significantly in recent years. He cited initiatives such as mock assemblies and mock parliaments introduced by the state government, and congratulated an Irugulam student selected at the district level for a mock assembly.
The programme was organised by the Sri City Foundation, which regularly conducts motivational and educational initiatives for the holistic development of rural students. School Headmaster Chinababu and teachers expressed gratitude to the Foundation for bringing eminent speakers like Kiranprabha to inspire their students.
