Indus Int’l School Hyd shines at national athletics meet

Hyderabad: Indus International School Hyderabad made a remarkable mark at the 7th ISSO Athletics National Meet 2025, held at Gachibowli Stadium, here, from October 29 to November 1. The event brought together over 800 student athletes from 90 schools across India, celebrating sporting excellence, teamwork, and resilience.
Demonstrating exceptional performance, Team Indus International School, Hyderabad emerged as the overall championship runner-up, securing an impressive 41 medals — 7 gold, 15 silver, and 19 bronze.
Among the standout achievers, Vihaan Chowdavaram was crowned Best Athlete (Under-14 Boys) for his stellar performance, winning three gold medals in the 100m, 200m, and 80m hurdles, and a silver medal in the 4x100m relay.
Other top medalists include:
• Shiriyal Tanneeru – Gold in Javelin Throw (U-17 Boys)
• Gogineni Nikhil Nanda – Gold in Hammer Throw (U-19 Boys)
• Shrika Reddy Myla – Gold in 3000m Race Walk (U-19 Girls)
• Abhinav Nandhikonda – Gold in 5000m Race Walk (U-19 Boys)
