IIM-V celebrates Foundation Day

Visakhapatnam The Eighth Foundation Day of the Indian Institute of Management-Visakhapatnam (IIM-V) was celebrated with fervour and gaiety in virtual mode on Friday.

Prof. D V L N Somayajulu, Director, IIITDM Kurnool was the chief guest, who delivered the Foundation Day lecture in which he emphasised on inculcating the necessary skills to overcome challenges and obstacles that arise in the workplace.

He also shared his valuable thoughts about the possible workplace challenges and to develop the ability to face risk and evolve with every step.

Speaking on the occasion, Director of IIM-V Prof. M Chandrashekhar congratulated the postgraduate program students for striving hard and setting an exemplary record for setting a good academic record and securing 100% placement.

Prof. PRS Sarma in the concluding remarks spoke about the importance of self-belief and hard work to survive in an exacting corporate world. The event was attended by faculty, staff, and students.
