IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 official brochure with key changes, revised fees, and exam schedule.
The official brochure for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 has been made available by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. The test will be administered in two shifts on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026.
Dates of GATE 2026 Registration
- Registration begins on August 25, 2025.
- Deadline (no late fees): September 25, 2025
- Deadline (with a late fee): October 6, 2025
- Announcement of results: March 19, 2026
Important Modifications to GATE 2026
- updated application fee schedule for various classifications.
- Energy Science (XE-I), a new sectional paper in the Engineering Sciences category, is introduced.
