Pune, Mar 17 Emphasis was laid on ever growing need of conservation of energy in an event which was held here on March 14.
While addressing the gathering on the 5th Foundation Day of DY Patil International University, Akurdi, Pune, Amar Variawa, the Country Director of Michelin India, poke about the importance of the ever growing need of conservation of energy.
Variawa shared the efforts and contribution of the government initiatives like the hydrogen mission. Also, he gave an overview of Michelin's initiative to strengthen the vehicles used by Defence. He also spoke about Michelin's initiatives towards technology and sustainability.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Prabhat Ranjan, Vice Chancellor of DYPIU, said, “DYPIU has set a benchmark with innovations and is recognized as a new age university.”
The University has set a benchmark with innovations and is recognized as a new age university. The number of students at the University has increased to 2600 now from 500 at the time of inception five years ago.
