New Delhi: Edtech giant BYJU's on Friday announced its new venture, 'Two-Teacher Advantage' for BYJU'S Classes – as a part of its after-school online tutoring program. The virtual class will have two teachers - one specialising on the subject with visual aids whereas the other to oversee doubts of the students.

The new two-teacher classes will be made available as a separate offering at about Rs 2,500 a month. While one teacher will use strong visuals and storytelling to explain topics in-depth, the second teacher will solve doubts and pay individual attention during the session.

Announcing the launch, Mrinal Mohit, Chief Operating Officer, BYJU'S said, "BYJU'S Classes 'Two Teacher Model' is a one-of-its-kind offering in the Indian online tuition segment, and is a key milestone in our mission to redefine the classrooms of tomorrow. It provides students access to the best teachers along with live and interactive instant doubt resolutions that closely simulate the offline classroom environment."

According to the company, BYJU'S Classes will be conducted in small batches and students can choose weekday or weekend batches as per their school curriculum. According to Ramesh Karra, Vice President – Brand Strategy, BYJU'S, the idea was initiated and tested for over 6 months before its launch and had overwhelming response from parents.

Keeping in par with the offline mode of education, the company has said that its students will be assigned a mentor to oversee assignments, monthly evaluations, conduct parent-teacher-meeting to discuss progress reports.
