AU joins Adani for edu collaboration

Visakhapatnam: IN an encouraging initiative, Andhra University, a premier educational body of the country has entered into an understanding with the Adani Institute for Education and Research (AIER) for educational collaboration.
AU Vice-Chancellor Prof PVGD Prasada Reddy, Registrar Prof V Krishnamohan, DPIIT-IPR Chair Prof H Purushotham, and Adani Institute of Infrastructure Director Prof M Muruganant participated in the MOU signing event performed in virtual mode on Thursday.
This MOU is a partnership to enhance learning, research and innovation. It will involve areas such as, but not limited to, exchange of information on research and educational programs, jointly organised faculty exchange, seminars, conferences and workshops. Both institutes will jointly conduct research and training programs sponsored by funding agencies and facilitate UG, PG and PhD student exchange programs and students' internships within the ecosystem.
They will also promote intellectual property (IP) development, innovation, incubation, entrepreneurship and start-ups. In connection with the signing ceremony, a joint webinar talk was organised on "University IPR Policy: Key for Achieving Academic Excellence."
