Apollo Institute hosts white coat ceremony

Hyderabad: The Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (AIMSR), Hyderabad, hosted its White Coat Ceremony for the MBBS Class of 2025 at the RNR Auditorium, Jubilee Hills, marking the students’ formal entry into the medical profession.Renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr K J Reddy, Professor and Senior Consultant, Apollo Hospitals, graced the occasion as chief guest and presented the white coats to the new batch of students. The ceremony was attended by Ms. Aparna Reddy K, Chief Operating Officer, AIMSR; Dr K Manohar, Dean, AIMSR; faculty members, and parents who gathered to witness the symbolic milestone in the students’ medical journey.
Addressing the students, Dr Reddy said the ceremony symbolised not just an academic transition but a commitment to compassion and excellence in healthcare. He urged the budding doctors to draw inspiration from Dr Prathap C Reddy, Founder-Chairman of Apollo Hospitals, who transformed India’s healthcare landscape.
