Hyderabad: Educational institution Mahindra University announced the launch of Master of Technology (M Tech) programme in Robotics, in partnership with the University of Agder, Norway.

For admission, candidates should hold a full-time degree from any recognised University or Institute, with a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent or equivalent grade in BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering. The academic fee for the programme is Rs 1 lakh per annum, and eligible candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 18,000 per month as a teaching assistantship from the university.

Dr Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor, Mahindra University, said: “Robotics is revolutionizing industries across the globe, and it is crucial to prepare the next generation of engineers to lead this transformative wave. Our collaboration with the University of Agder, Norway will provide our students a global perspective.”

This interdisciplinary programme is offered by Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the Ecole Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University in collaboration with Electronics and Computer science departments. The two-year degree programme provides students with advanced engineering-related knowledge.
