Schneider Electric holds ‘innovation summit’ in Vizag

Visakhapatnam Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation on Monday hosted its multi-city 'Innovation Summit' here. The summit served as a platform for local industries to convene, exchange ideas, and collaboratively devise solutions that address India's future energy requirements.

The event, which witnessed a footfall of over 200 customers, partners and end-users addressed potential solutions to mitigate climate change challenges to make the planet more sustainable.

With India’s industrial base currently on the rise to cater to the needs of the country and global demand, the need for energy is going up significantly.

To effectively utilise the finite amount of energy that is produced year after year, a concerted effort must be made by industries across all segments to adopt more digitisation and automation. It is therefore paramount for industries to inculcate a culture of digitisation in a targeted manner and at an accelerated pace. The event provided an opportunity for industries and large commercial establishments to come together and ideate on integrating digital cutting-edge technologies that, if combined, can deliver maximum positive impact.
