Sales development representatives in demand in Hyd

Hyderabad: LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network revealing its research finding said that over nine in 10 (92 per cent) of professionals in Hyderabad are considering a new job in 2024. LinkedIn also said that Sales Development Representative job tops the list of jobs on the rise in the city.

The other jobs on the rise in the city include Assurance Associate, Legal Analyst, Recruiter, Tax Associate, Customer Success Manager, Growth Manager, Site Reliability Engineer, Learning and Development Manager and Back End Developer.

LinkedIn data further revealed that as AI accelerates the pace of skill-change, skills for jobs in India have changed by 30 per cent since 2015. By 2030, they are expected to change by 65 per cent, globally. Amidst these shifts, job hunting can be challenging, to stand apart from the crowd 77 per cent of professionals in the city are trying new ways to succeed in their job search. 86 per cent are exploring new ways to present their resume/CV to recruiters (video format, digital resume), while a similar share (86 per cent) are spending more time on online courses, learning to acquire new skills. They are also keen on using AI with 81 per cent of professionals saying it can help make their job search more efficient and productive.

The professional network has piloted two new generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools - Recruiter 2024 and LinkedIn Learning’s AI-powered coaching, as 95 per cent of employers in India are open for recruiting new talent this year.
