RINL Limited gets oxygen concentrators from NRIs, cancer hospital

Visakhapatnam Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has received several oxygen concentrations from NRIs to treat Covid patients.

RINL is continuing to supply LMO (liquid medical oxygen) to AP and other States as it stands with the nation during this pandemic crisis.

A company spokesman said it has supplied 5900 tonne of LMO since April 13 and 14,750 tonne of LMO since onset of pandemic.

RINL-Vizag Steel is building a jumbo Covid care facility in Ukkunagaram, Steel Plant township for treatment of Covid patients. Reciprocating to this mammoth effort of RINL, Greater Portland Telugu Association (GPTA) Oregon, USA has extended support by donating 20 oxygen concentrators to Visakha Steel General Hospital.

In an another noble gesture, 10 oxygen concentrators and 10 Oxygo (portable) were donated to VSGH by the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Agnampudi for Covid patient treatment.
