Revanth opens 50-bed Covid hospital

Hyderabad MALKAJGIRI MP Revanth Reddy on Sunday inaugurated a 50-bed hospital in the Bollarum area of the city.

Speaking after the inauguration, Revanth said responding to several complaints he received about lack of facilities to treat the Covid patients in the Cantonment area, he had ordered the conversion of the primary health centre to a 50-bed with oxygen supply hospital exclusively to treat Covid patients. Soon it will be upgraded to a 100-bed hospital, he said. He said in view of the rising cases in the Covid 2nd wave, he visited the primary health centre 15 days back and expedited the facilities and staff required for the health centre to be converted into a Covid special hospital. Later, he reviewed the facilities at the hospital. Cantonment CEO was also present at the ingural ceremony.
