OpenText, an enterprise information management company said it has established itself as a hub for innovators with a workforce of more than 6,000 across offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. In Hyderabad the Company has employed around 2,500 engineers. The development centres in India drive significant innovations for the company.

The Company recently launched opentext.ai leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLM) to enhance problem-solving through OpenText Information Management software.

Hence, OpenText’s India-based team is integral to the global operations, product development, and customer service. Hiring and retaining good talent is a top priority for us in India. We have grown significantly over the years organically and through acquisitions, and will continue to do so.”

Saxena further said that several of OpenText’s flagship product - Aviators, was mostly built by the India team. The company has strategically distributed its platform teams, with 90 per cent of the Extended ECM platform team based in Hyderabad, and 80 per cent of the Magellan platform team in Hyderabad, 97 per cent of the Documentum team based in Bengaluru, 88 per cent of the Grid platform also in Bengaluru.
