Oxygen to reach AP from Durgapur today

Visakhapatnam Two cryogenic containers each carrying 20 MT of liquid oxygen started from Durgapur Steel plant.

The train will reach Krishnapatnam, Nellore District by tommorrow evening.

According to M.T. Krishna Babu, Chairman, State Covid Task Force Commityee,

Andhra Pradesh, the Government of India has allocated another three ISO containers which will be handed over at Durgapur tommorrow afternoon.

Another train with 60 MT will start from Durgapur tommorrow evening and will come to Nellore in 24 hours.

These two trains will be run in opposite directions to ensure assured supply of 60 MT per day to Rayalaseema districts and Nellore.

Krishna Babu said AP is getting one train carrying six ISO containers carrying 110 MT of liquid oxygen from Jamnager Reliance. This train had already started and is expected to reach AP tommorrow night at Concor Station, Guntur.
