LuLu Mall all set to open at Kukatpally tomorrow

UAE-based retailer Lulu Group International is all set to open its first mall in Hyderabad tomorrow (September 27, 2023). Spread across 5 lakh sq ft, this mall at Kukatpally is set to be the city’s largest mall once it opens its doors to shoppers. Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao will inaugurate the mega shopping mall on Wednesday morning.

“We are delighted to announce the grand opening of Lulu Mall in Hyderabad on September 27. As we embark on this new journey, we aim to create a haven of happiness and exceptional shopping experiences for the people of Hyderabad,” Lulu Group India said in a statement. The retail giant will invest over Rs 3,600 crore in Telangana. It also has several investment plans in the State.

The mall will be home to a mega Lulu Hypermarket, more than 75 plus local and international brands, five-screen cinema with a seating capacity of 1,400, a multi-cuisine food court, and a children’s entertainment centre.

“This mall will create employment opportunities to more than 2,000 people,” Lulu Group Chairman Yusuff Ali MA said. Lulu Group’s investment in the State is the outcome of several discussions and an MoU signed with the government during KTR’s visit to the World Economic Forum last year in Davos.”
