Landomus directors also trustees of IUD
New Delhi Landomus Group Directors, Pradeep Kumar Satyaprakash, Yashas Pradeep Kumar, Rakshith Gangadhar and Gunashree Praddep Kumar, are also the movers behind the Indian University for Deaf (IUD). The four are listed as Trustees of the IUD. "Indian University for Deaf (IUD) is India's first exclusive university for deaf that provides bilingual education for deaf and hard-of-hearing students along the lines of Gallaudet University. The primary aim is to provide deaf and hard-of-hearing students with bilingual medium of instruction in Indian Sign Language (ISL) and English," says the insititution's website.
"The University will boast of 100 acre campus with five million sft of State-of-the-art infrastructure with contemporary education programs." The fifth director of Landomus, Mamatha H.N. is also listed in the motivation for IUD. "Being a deaf and speech impaired person by birth, I understand the difficulties faced by the deaf in all stages of their lives. Things which seem to be easy and simple for the rest of the world are a challenge for the deaf community.
"I can't stress more on the importance of education in transforming the lives of the deaf and helping them achieve economic independence. Hence, through this university, I would like to educate and empower the deaf community," Mamatha HN is quoted as saying.
The website further says: "Pradeep Kumar Satyaprakash and his wife Mamatha Pradeep Kumar, with a vision to create international standard academic infrastructure for the deaf are coming up with India's first Bilingual University exclusively for the deaf along the lines of the world renowned Gallaudet University of the US." The IUD will come up in a 100 acre campus in Bengaluru and boast of a five million sft of the best in class deaf friendly infrastructure and facilities.
In order to achieve its ambition of being a world-class education provider, IUD is committed to significant enhancement of its facilities and buildings, essential for world-class research and all-round development of students. The University will have an extremely modern and state-of-the-art infrastructure that goes a long way in facilitating a number of services for the students as well as the staff members, it said.
The Linkedin profile of Yashas Pradeep Kumar, one of the directors of Landomus Group, describes him as a chartered wealth manager and Head of Finance of Landomus Realty Ventures Inc. The profile lists him in the role for the last three years and three months. His education profile says: "I have done the certification called Chartered Wealth Manager from AAFM and it is recognised by the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI)".

A relatively unknown US-based company, the Landomus Group has announced a Build India programme under which it would like to invest $500 Billion in equity as the first phase of the $2 trillion investment. This would be into the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) and Non-NIP projects listed by the government of India under the India Investment Grid for "Invest India" initiative.
Landomus announced this through a newspaper advertisement addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
