Kaynes to invest `2,800 cr in TS

In a landmark moment in India’s Semiconductor Mission, Telangana is set to host Semiconductor OSAT and Compound Semiconductor facility by Kaynes Technology. The proposed facility by Kaynes Technology will entail an investment of Rs 2,800 crore and will create direct employment for over 2,000 people. Telangana IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday met Ramesh Kannan, Managing Director of Kaynes and Savitha Ramesh, Chairperson of Kaynes to announce the setting up of the Kaynes’ facility in Telangana. The proposed facility will come up in Kongara Kalan, adjacent to the upcoming electronics manufacturing facility of Foxconn.
