GMR arm supports under-privileged students

Global infrastructure conglomerate GMR Group’s corporate social responsibility arm GMR Varalakshmi Foundation said 125 under-privileged students secured job opportunities during GMR VTI’s four-day job fair. The students received skilling from GMR’s Vocational Training Institutes (VTI), while Delhi International Airport Ltd supported the initiative.

The job offers were handed over to the candidates by Gen (retd) Dr V K Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, during a ceremony held at the institute on GMR VTI’s 10th anniversary. GMR VTI Delhi, supported by Delhi International Airport Ltd has trained over 10,000 youths from the Delhi NCR and northern India region since its formation in 2013. The institute offers 13 different courses and trains over 1,200 youth annually.
