AstorMueller to invest `20 cr to open 10 stores

European premium footwear company AstorMueller, which has renowned brands like bugatti and BAGATT, has forayed into South India through its first store at Inorbit Mall in Hyderabad and third store in India. It has recently opened stores at Delhi and Indore. It is planning to invest Rs 20 crore to have 10 stores across India in a year. It is going set up another store in the city over next six months.

“We are delighted to have had our first ever season launch party in the vibrant city Hyderabad. Our goal at AstorMueller is to continuously evolve our merchandise to reflect our consumer’s persona, uniqueness and sophistication and our Autumn Winter ’23 collection does just that,” said Sandip Baksi, COO & Retail Head (India), AstorMueller.

“We have finalised stores at Bengaluru and Pune, there are few others with locations finalised and are in the pipe line. Our objective is to reach out to the top ten cities of India by the middle of next year. The investment for the ten stores is Rs 20 crore. Our investment in the overall business in India is far larger, we today export fifty lakh pairs per year,” he informed.

Sandip further said, “The company has over 500 employees across India, including at our factories of a lakh sq ft of space at Ambur and Agra, where we manufacture our own shoes as well as well of partners. On the format of this store a second store in Hyderabad is due in the next six months and probably a few more across Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry. “

AstorMueller not only manufactures footwear but also handbags, backpacks as well as shoe care and related accessories. The new store presented an exclusive preview of bugatti’s latest styles from the streets of Europe. The product range starts from Rs 6,000. Complementing this collection is the prestigious Italian brand BAGATT renowned for its fashion-forward elegance.
