Hyderabad: TiE Hyderabad has launched the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme to promote entrepreneurship for school students in Class 9-12. The 15th edition of the programme was launched recently by film actor and entrepreneur Rana Daggubati.

Rashida Adenwala, Chairperson of TiE Hyderabad said, “TiE is a global volunteer-driven organisation fostering entrepreneurship. The Hyderabad Chapter has over 150 industry leaders as Charter Members who offer guidance and mentorship to aspiring and established entrepreneurs and provide orientation to school and college students.”

Subba Raju Pericherla, Program Chair, said that the programme would culminate with a business plan competition amongst teams formed by the students and the winning team would go to the US to compete against teams from around the world. It is an inclusive program. It will be our endeavour to see that every team has a student from a government school.

In the three-month programme, the instructions are given by TiE Charter Members who bring their vast experience to build the right foundation for the students in all aspects of building a startup. TYE is a transformational programme that provides a new outlook to students in their formative years and sows the seeds of entrepreneurship and business acumen in their young minds.
