LTIMindtree net profit dips 1.2%

New Delhi: Indian IT company LTIMindtree on Wednesday reported a 1.2 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,100.7 crore for the March quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1,114.1 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations was pegged at Rs 8,892.9 crore in the fourth quarter of FY24, up 2.32 per cent from Rs 8,691 crore in the year-ago period, according to a BSE filing. For the full FY24, the net profit stood 4 per cent higher at Rs 4,584.6 crore. The revenue from operations for the full FY24 was Rs 35,517 crore, 7.03 per cent higher than the previous fiscal, as per the filing. “We closed FY24 amidst a tough macro environment and delivered a resilient performance with full-year revenue growth of 4.4 per cent in USD terms and an EBIT margin of 15.7 per cent,” Debashis Chatterjee, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of LTIMindtree, said in a release.

Axis Bank posts net profit of Rs 7,129 cr

Mumbai: Private sector lender Axis Bank on Wednesday reported a net profit of Rs 7,129 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024. The bank had reported a net loss of Rs 5,728 crore in the March quarter of 2022-23 fiscal. Total income rose to Rs 35,990 crore in the March quarter of 2023-24 fiscal, from Rs 28,758 crore in the year-ago period. The bank’s Net Interest Income (NII) grew 11 per cent Year-on-Year (YoY) to Rs 13,089 crore. For 2023-24 fiscal, the net profit jumped 160 per cent to Rs 24,861 crore. The numbers for the March quarter of 2022-23 fiscal and the full fiscal include the impact of exceptional items relating to the Citibank business acquisition, Axis Bank said. Its balance sheet grew 12 per cent YoY to Rs 14,77,209 crore as on March 31, 2024

ICICI Prudential Life net dips 26%

New Delhi: ICICI Prudential has reported a 26 per cent drop in net profit to Rs 174 crore for the quarter ended March 31 on higher expenses. The private sector insurer had a profit of Rs 235 crore in the fourth quarter of 2022-23. The insurer’s net premium income rose 17 per cent to Rs 14,788 crore in the March quarter, compared to Rs 12,629 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s expenses of management rose 10 per cent to Rs 2,550 crore in the fourth quarter of FY’24, from Rs 2,320 crore at the end of the March quarter of 2022-23. For the full 2023-24 fiscal, ICICI Pru’s net profit rose 5 per cent to Rs 852 crore. In 2022-23 fiscal, the net profit was Rs 811 crore.

ESFB reports PAT at Rs 207.62 cr

Chennai: Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd (ESFB) has registered a net profit after tax at Rs 207.62 crore for the January-March 2024 quarter, the bank said on Wednesday. The private sector lender had registered a profit after tax at Rs 190.03 crore during the corresponding quarter of last financial year. For the year ending March 31, 2024 the net profit after tax stood at Rs 798.96 crore, as against Rs 573.59 crore registered year ago, the bank said in a BSE filing. Total income during the quarter under review surged to Rs 1,685.10 crore from Rs 1,394.41 crore registered during the same quarter of last financial year. For the year ending March 31, 2024 the total income went up to Rs 6,285.07 crore as against Rs 4,831.46 crore registered during the corresponding period of last financial year.
