Hyderabad: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on Wednesday said it has secured the branding rights from L&T, Hyderabad for Metro Stations at Peddamma Gudi and MGBS in the city. Under the agreement, these two stations will be prefixed with LIC on all the display boards. At an event held at LIC Peddamma Gudi Metro Station, LK Shamsunder, Zonal Manager inaugurated the branding activities.
Henceforth, the announcements of arrival and departure status in metro trains at these stations would be announced as LIC Peddamma Gudi and LIC MGBS.
Speaking on the occasion, Shamsunder said that the tie up with L&T for the long-term branding rights for the two stations is a step to reach close to the customers and life insurance policy seekers through a new media. Uthup Joseph, Regional Manager-Marketing gave a brief on the new product, Jeevan Utsav. K V B Reddy, MD and CEO, L&T Metro, Hyderabad extended his wishes to LIC for coming forward and taking up the branding of the two stations.
He informed that Hyderabad Metro has the best amenities at all the stations and some more facilities are going to come up soon. Senior officials from LIC and L&T were present at the event.
