Climate change is just one of the stressors currently impacting nature. Today's startups are increasingly, believing in using sustainable and eco-friendly material to make beautiful and useful products for the people. Wudbox a company incubated in We Hub (Government of Telangana incubator) encourages people to use sustainable and eco-friendly items to reduce pollution. The company works closely with around 150 artisans coming from several States to produce items like coconut bowls (made out of coconut shells), wood combs, coconut-coir hair brushes among others which are specifically handcrafted by artisans from East Godavari (coconut shells), Tamil Nadu (loofah, coir products), bamboo-based products (bamboo toothbrushes) from Assam and Bengal and many more nearby States where these items are made with the idea to preserve environment.

"We seek more people and companies to come together so that they can do something for climate change and help us reduce the carbon emissions," says Charu Dhyani, Founder and Chief Creative of Wudbox.

The collection of raw materials plays a major role in terms of its quality and the company recycles its material and use it for more number of items. "While starting the company the collection of raw materials was hassle-free. The artisans also co-operated by collecting and making the best products," says Dhayni. Wudbox is also working towards promoting the use of sustainable products among people from all walks of life. "Making better products from what we receive is one of our goals and this is our purpose where we have got a lot of support," Dhyani adds. "Advertising through social media and online platforms, is very easy as one can track the status of the advertisement in terms of reaching the consumers and the budget can also be fixed easily as per our convenience," the founder says.

Being a startup, the company also spoke to various consumers and B2B clients in order to equip itself with their needs and demands in order to propagate itself in the wide market filled with competition. The company also believes that it should cater to the requirement of its customers in order to prepare their favourite kind of product. According to Dhyani, networking and mentorship are very significant to begin a startup because it helps people in knowing the various discrepancies coming in the way and an efficient way to overcome any kind of problem.

When it comes to the making of the products, the company doesn't create any kind of waste during the manufacturing process. They use natural, biodegradable raw materials, which do not emit any kind of harmful chemicals. The material used can be easily composted wherein when they are mixed in the soil, they can get easily decomposed. Products like pens, pencils and many others are made out of recycled paper which is easily available and doesn't require the cutting of trees for the wood used in these natural products.
