Bangaru Babu Bhagavatula, GM, Project’s, and Chelluri Venkateswara Rao, AGM, Electrical, Granules India Limited receiving the award, in Hyderabad on Wednesday
Hyderabad: Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation on Wednesday held the Telangana State Energy Conservation Award 2023, at Visvesvaraya Bhavan in the city. Among the recipients, city-based leading pharmaceutical company Granules India Limited won the first place.
Company representatives, Bangaru Babu Bhagavatula, General Manager, Project’s and Chelluri Venkateswara Rao, Assistant General Manager, Electrical received the ‘Gold Award’ from Chandan Mitra. The vice president of TSREDCO, N Janaiah presided over the award function. The pharma major said the Company has succeeded in reducing electricity power consumption and carbon emissions by 27.48 lakh units. The company officials extended the award to the vision of Granules Company Chairman and Managing Director Dr Chigurupati Krishna Prasad, for the achievement and for bringing in environment-friendly products.
