Visakhapatnam Waltair Division of East Coast Railway has come up with yet another innovative concept of passenger amenity- E-cars and E-bikes on rent at Visakhapatnam railway station. First of its kind in Indian Railways, e-vehicles on rent is environment-friendly move with added facility to the passengers visiting the city. Divisional Railway Manager Anup Kumar Satpathy inaugurated the facility on Saturday.

A leading motorbike rental company has set up its facility at Visakhapatnam railway station at Gate No. 1 which offers a diversified and exceptional range of two wheelers and four wheelers on rent. This project was set up under non-fare revenue.

One can go on a long ride and have an enjoyable trip for consecutive days by hiring favourite bikes on rent. The entrepreneur offers competitive pricing and optimum quality bikes that provide an exquisite experience for all, according to a Railway official.

The customer-oriented approach by the service provider enables to fulfill the needs of the passengers and the public who intended to have happy and joyful ride to city of destiny. With the personalized service and higher commitment levels the riders can choose to ride on an hourly and daily basis, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, the DRM said that the rental bikes and cars is an excellent facility for the visitors, passengers, public at the station who can avail this facility at nominal charges. The concept of e-bikes and cars is to promote environment friendly motive among the travelers and to encourage the public towards conservation of environment. He said "We believe in seeing our customers happy and satisfied with our service."

Waltair Division is continuously upgrading the facilities to enhance passenger convenience. With the motto to meet the budgets and preferences of visitors and to provide hassle free service during their visit to the city, the bike and car rental was set up.
