Dr Waghray's Covid awareness drive

Hyderabad Waghray's Lung Foundation Chairman Dr Pradyutt Waghray has taken an initiative to bring awareness about Covid pandemic to sarpanches and villagers by organising webinars in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. Dr Pradyutt Waghray is senior pulmonologist from Hyderabad and Professor at SVS Medical College, Mahbubnagar. The doctor is also a senior consultant pulmonologist in Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and Managing Director of Kunal Institute of Medical Specialties. He is also an honorary consultant pulmonologist to the armed forces. Dr Waghray speaks in the webinars about Covid and the preventive strategies including vaccination and the importance of following the Covid protocol- correct way of using mask, social distancing and hand washing. This initiative is taken to prevent the rural areas from being ravaged by the pandemic. He also plans to make this a regular feature once a fortnight.

He has also been appointed as a member of the Task Force for covid management by the Government of India in the capacity of a specialist, headed by Tejaswi Surya, Member of Parliament, Bangalore.
