Hyderabad, India, 22 November 2023: UST, a leading digital solutions company, is expanding its operations in Hyderabad, aiming to tap into the city's rich talent pool and bolster its capabilities across diverse strategic domains and technologies. The modern 1,18,000-square-foot facility, with the provision of more expansion in the future, will accommodate over 2000 UST employees in Hyderabad and act as a center for innovative research and development in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and IoT. The company plans to double headcount to 4000 employees in Hyderabad in the next two to three years. Alexander Varghese, the Chief Operating Officer at UST, expressed enthusiasm about positively impacting the local communities and contributing to Hyderabad's prominence in the global IT industry.

Highlighting Hyderabad as a global innovation hub known for its agility and dynamism, Venkata Peram, the Center Head at UST Hyderabad, emphasized how the company harnesses the city's vibrant characteristics to drive trans formative business solutions. He also acknowledged the collaboration with top-tier innovators in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions for clients.

The inauguration of UST's new campus at CapitaLand's International Tech Park Hyderabad reaffirms the commitment to cultivating modern work environments that foster innovation and collaborative growth. Gauri Shankar Nagabhushanam, CEO of India Business Parks at CapitaLand Investment, welcomed UST's presence, foreseeing their contribution to advancing SaaS solutions and AI technologies across diverse sectors.

UST's new office in Hyderabad houses a team of skilled engineers and researchers, focused on creating innovative solutions in collaboration with clients, partners, and academia. Positioned within Hyderabad's thriving innovation ecosystem, near renowned academic institutions and startup hubs, the Innovation Lab aims to drive growth and value creation. This lab marks UST's fourth in India, joining others in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, and Chennai.

The Hyderabad office will be a hub for various impactful projects, including the development of SAS platform practices and cutting-edge research in AI, CIS, and engineering. Over the next two years, it will evolve into a global capability center catering to sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, telecom, manufacturing, retail, and insurance.

Recognizing Hyderabad and Telangana as homes to a skilled technology workforce, UST acknowledges the state government's efforts in fostering innovation and economic growth. UST has forged a corporate partnership with T-Hub, the Telangana startup hub, to harness the burgeoning innovation ecosystem, co-creating innovative technology-enabled solutions with startups to address customer needs.
