Subi of Zupee is Innovative Leader of the Year

Hyderabad Subi Chaturvedi, Chief Corporate Affairs and Policy Officer, Zupee, has been recognised as Innovative Leader of the Year for leading the charge of shaping online gaming and the use of technology for good discourse in the public and policy space. In recognition of the tremendous contribution of women across corporates and agencies in the communication space, Exchange4Media has announced the winners of the prestigious Women Achievers Summit & Awards 2021.

Highly renowned for creating innovative ideas and solutions, Subi believes strongly in leveraging the power of digital innovation for changing people's lives for the better, and transforming societies of today into the societies of tomorrow. She has been working tirelessly towards shaping the policy ecosystem and perception around Indian online gaming sector to help the industry capitalise and strengthen its position in the global market.

Subi has been a strong advocate for positive change and digital transformation. She is considered as a key industry voice for online-gaming sector in general and especially for Zupee, which is the segment leader in skill-based online gaming. She was the first Indian woman on the United Nations Internet Governance Forum, multistakeholder group representing two stakeholders groups, media & civil society, appointed by the UN Secretary General.

Sharing her reaction on being conferred with the recognition, Subi said, "I would like to thank the jury and the organisers for recognising and celebrating my contribution through this award. It is now a greater responsibility for me to continue working towards mainstreaming innovation in everyone's life and for using technology and gaming for good. I also thank young and talented entrepreneurs in India who are relentlessly ensuring that the Make in India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Made in India for the world, dream comes true."
