Mumbai, Apr 24: Rohit Boda, Group Managing Director of the J.B. Boda Group and the founder of RB Ventures, was recently appointed Non-Executive Director and Head of India Chapter, Global Association of Insurtech Professionals (GAIP), and was presented with the prestigious ‘Young Leader of the Year’ award at the 11th GAIP–InsureTek Golden Shield Excellence Awards 2025, at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai Marina. The honour, which celebrates outstanding leadership and innovation in the insurance sector, underscores Rohit’s remarkable contributions to the industry.
The Golden Shield Excellence Awards recognise innovation, prudence, and stability in the insurance sector, celebrating individuals and organisations that have demonstrated exemplary performance over the past financial year. The ceremony concluded the GAIP InsureTek ME Conference, the Middle East's largest gathering dedicated to insurance innovation and insurtech.
Rohit Boda’s recognition at this landmark event comes close on the heels of his appointment as the Non-Executive Director and Head of the India Chapter of the Global Association of Insurtech Professionals (GAIP). With an illustrious career taking the J.B. Boda Group’s legacy forward and founding RB Ventures—both headquartered in Mumbai and Dubai, respectively- Rohit brings a wealth of experience, vision, and technological insight to the global insurtech movement.
His dual achievements — appointment to GAIP’s leadership and the ‘Young Leader of the Year’ honour, both signal a transformative phase in India’s insurtech ecosystem, driven by bold leadership and international collaboration.

With the insurtech market in the Middle East projected to grow from $231.32 million in 2022 to $1.652 billion by 2029, GAIP’s expansion into India, spearheaded by Rohit Boda, marks a significant stride toward global industry alignment.
The journey began with the soft launch of GAIP at the 9th Global Economic Summit on Fintech, laying the foundation for an expansive network of insurtech professionals across continents. The newly inaugurated India Chapter is poised to foster international best practices and strengthen cross-border partnerships, guided by Rohit Boda’s strategic leadership.
