Passengers rate GMR Hyderabad airport best in Asia-Pacific

Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport has been honored with the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for 'Best Airport in the 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)' in the Asia-Pacific region for 2023. This recognition comes from the Airports Council International (ACI) ASQ survey, where Hyderabad Airport excelled among over 400 global participants.

The ACI World's ASQ program is renowned for gauging airport passenger satisfaction through real-time surveys, assessing over 30 performance indicators to capture the entire passenger journey.

• Award categories include Best Airports by Size and Region, Most Dedicated Staff, Easiest Airport Journey, Most Enjoyable Airport, and Cleanest Airport for Departures, with Top Airports Globally for Arrivals.

It secured a spot among the Top 3 Global airports for nine consecutive years (2009 to 2017) and claimed the World No. 1 position four times in 2009, 2010, 2016, and 2017 in the 5 – 15 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA) category in ACI-ASQ Awards.
