L&T, Larsen and Toubro, has reaffirmed its commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable future by becoming a steering member of the Hydrogen Council. This prestigious council is a formidable and diverse coalition led by CEOs, consisting of over 140 multinational companies. Their primary mission is to champion the role of hydrogen in the global energy transition, highlighting its significance in a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

SN Subrahmanyan, the Chairman and Managing Director of Larsen and Toubro (L&T), emphasized the company's dedication to developing sustainable solutions. Recognizing hydrogen as a pivotal driver in the journey towards a clean energy future, L&T is eager to collaborate with like-minded global leaders. Drawing from decades of experience in hydrogen-related initiatives, L&T aims to actively contribute to the Hydrogen Council's platforms and objectives.

Yoshinori Kanehana, Chairman of Kawasaki Heavy Industries and co-chair of the Hydrogen Council, warmly welcomed the addition of L&T and two other new members. He highlighted the alignment of their ethos with the Hydrogen Council's vision, which is focused on using hydrogen to foster a cleaner, more sustainable, and resilient energy future.
