New Delhi: Renowned luxury motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has made a groundbreaking announcement today, revealing plans to introduce eight new motorcycle models and add at least two new showrooms within the Indian market in 2024.
The revelation of these new models unveiled during the Ducati World Premiere 2024, includes highly anticipated bikes such as the Multistrada V4 RS, DesertX Rally, Panigale V4 Racing Replica 2023, Diavel for Bentley, Hypermotard 698 Mono, Monster 30° Anniversario, Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916, and the new Streetfighter V4S 2023 – a bike globally revealed last year.
Expressing enthusiasm about the forthcoming developments, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, highlighted, "2023 marked a historic year for Ducati, securing triumph in the inaugural Indian MotoGP race at BIC and defending both the MotoGP and WSBK titles. Despite initial challenges, including the absence of the Scrambler range for the first three quarters of 2023, we achieved our sales targets, predominantly driven by flagship models like Panigale V4, Multistrada V4, and Diavel V4."
He continued, "The overwhelming embrace of the V4 platform in India reflects the motorcycling community's appreciation for the style, sophistication, and high performance embedded in our product range, the most extensive among big bike brands in the country. With the launch of 8 new Ducati motorcycles and the opening of 2 new dealerships, we eagerly anticipate an exciting and promising 2024 for Ducati in India."
The roadmap for 2024 unveils a series of launches in different quarters. The first quarter will witness the exclusive release of the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, followed by the DesertX Rally, Hypermotard 698 Mono, and the new Streetfighter V4 range in the second quarter. The Multistrada V4 RS and the limited-number release of the Diavel for Bentley are scheduled for the fourth quarter.
Ducati India has hinted that indicative prices for the new launches will be disclosed on their website from the second week of January 2024, nearing the arrival dates of these models. Bookings for the new models are now open across all Ducati dealerships situated in major cities across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad.
