Amul, the renowned dairy brand, is set to introduce its fresh milk offerings beyond the borders of India, marking its debut in the United States market. The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), the entity behind Amul, is poised to unveil four distinct variants of fresh milk in the US within the span of a week, aimed at catering not only to the Indian diaspora but also to the broader Asian population residing in the country.

This momentous development underscores a significant milestone for Amul, which has a long-standing tradition of exporting various dairy products worldwide. However, the launch of fresh milk in the US signifies a departure from previous endeavors, marking the first time that Amul's fresh milk will be available outside of India.

Speaking on initiative, Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of GCMMF, emphasized the strategic collaboration that has enabled this venture. The GCMMF has forged a partnership with the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA), an esteemed cooperative organization with a legacy spanning over a century, to facilitate the introduction of fresh milk into the US market.

This collaboration signifies a convergence of expertise and resources, leveraging the strengths of both entities to meet the demands of consumers in the US. The tie-up with MMPA not only signifies a strategic alliance but also underscores a commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards and leveraging the extensive network and experience of MMPA in the American dairy landscape.
