Mumbai: Allcargo Supply Chain Private Limited (ASPL), the logistics arm of Allcargo Group, has announced its ambitious plan to increase its warehousing space by 3 million square feet within the next two to three years. Currently managing 6 million square feet of space, the company intends to kick off its expansion by focusing on the north and south regions.

With warehouses spread across more than 80 locations in India, ASPL's nationwide expansion strategy includes establishing standardized warehouses equipped with advanced facilities. These warehouses will cater to various sectors, with ASPL's client distribution comprising 25 percent from the chemical sector, 30 percent from e-commerce, 25 percent from auto engineering, and 15 percent from other verticals.

"Our expansion plan is not solely about increasing square footage; it's about enhancing our capabilities to better serve our clients," said Sushil Rathi, Director at ASPL. "Through modern infrastructure and advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), our warehouses will streamline the process of moving and storing goods while ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations."

ASPL currently operates more than 27 multi-user chemical warehouses, serving a client base of over 70 companies. In a recent development, the company inaugurated a Grade A chemical warehousing facility at its complex in Uran, Navi Mumbai, covering an area of 1.6 lakh sq. ft. This facility guarantees safe storage of hazardous chemicals, meeting international safety standards.

The mega complex of ASPL spans over 5.50 lakh sq ft and strategically sits 15 km from the port and 25 km from the Mumbai-Pune expressway. Equipped with cold storage options, in-rack sprinklers, and modern infrastructure, the facility prioritizes safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, MD of Allcargo Supply Chain, highlighted the company's commitment to delivering top-tier chemical warehousing services, leveraging synergies with Gati for comprehensive logistics solutions. Sushil Rathi, Director at Allcargo Supply Chain, emphasized the strategic advantage of the location's seamless connectivity, reinforcing its position in the chemical warehousing sector.

ASPL's expansion plans also include the opening of new facilities in Bhiwandi, Vapi, and North India, as it continues to strengthen its presence in the market.
