In August, Air India unveiled its new logo, which retained the original red and white colors while introducing a touch of purple. During the logo and livery launch event, Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran emphasized that the new logo symbolizes boundless possibilities and confidence.

Recently, Air India, under Tata Sons' control, shared a sneak peek of its plane featuring the updated logo and livery. They posted images of an A350 aircraft being painted at a facility in Toulouse, France. This aircraft is scheduled to arrive in India during the upcoming winter season.

The new logo, named 'The Vista,' has incurred a substantial investment of $400 million for the complete refurbishment of the airline's entire fleet to align with this fresh look.

During the launch event, Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran explained that the logo signifies limitless possibilities and confidence. The revamped livery incorporates a color palette comprising deep red, aubergine, and gold accents, along with a design inspired by the chakra.

Chandrasekaran further stated, "The new logo that you see here today... the vista signified by that historically used window (the peak of the golden window signifies limitless possibilities, progress, confidence, and all of it."

He also emphasized the airline's commitment to enhancing various aspects of human resources and the need to refurbish the existing fleet alongside the acquisition of new aircraft. Despite the considerable effort required, he expressed confidence in the clear path ahead, with the new logo representing their bold vision.

Air India CEO Campbell Wilson earlier remarked, "Our transformative new brand reflects an ambition to make Air India a world-class airline serving guests from around the globe, and that represents a new India proudly on the global stage."

Campbell assured that the iconic 'Maharaja,' which had long served as Air India's mascot, would continue to be part of the airline's journey into the future.

In an official statement, the airline highlighted its significant investments aimed at enhancing the guest experience and solidifying its position as the preferred carrier for travelers flying to, from, and within India.
