Could you give a quick overview of Bry-Air’s key products, solutions, and areas of focus?

Bry-Air is a flagship company of the Pahwa Group that leads the forefront in providing environment control solutions and industrial air management.

It offers a wide range of product portfolios entailing desiccant dehumidifiers for achieving stringent, precise humidity control across pharmaceutical, Li-ion battery manufacturing, food processing, electronics, and many more sectors.

It is especially renowned in Li-ion battery manufacturing for providing low and ultra-low dew point solutions for ensuring operation reliability and delivering products of the highest quality.

The diverse product range also includes gas-phase filtration systems, which are proficient at mitigating airborne contaminants from sensitive facilities like data centers and server rooms. The plastic auxiliary equipment resides well for performing resin drying and processing.

Over a span of six decades, Bry-Air has established an unparalleled reputation for providing state-of-the-art Dry Rooms, developing energy-efficient adsorption chillers in the industry. Investing heavily in research & development, the company keeps innovating and makes significant strides in offering energy-efficient products and solutions aimed at touching people’s lives round the clock.

Accordingly, the company keeps coming up with groundbreaking technologies such as carbon capture and AWG technologies.

Driving innovation in desiccant, adsorption, and emerging technologies, Bry-Air focuses on sustainability, critical industrial applications, and innovation-led growth, combining advanced technology with global operational reach.

What helped you expand successfully across 80+ countries?

Our international growth is driven by a well-defined long-term vision and extensive expertise in moisture regulation, air quality management, and desiccant-based solutions. From the outset, we are focused on addressing mission-critical challenges with accuracy, dependability, and innovation aimed at developing solutions that are both globally pertinent and competitive.

Our robust presence in over 80 countries is supported by continuous investment in research and development. Advanced research, product engineering, and application development that are powered by world-class labs for keeping us ahead of industry requirements across pharmaceuticals, food processing, lithium battery manufacturing, and data centre air quality.

Our customer-first philosophy is equally crucial. With dependable service networks, localised assistance, and an emphasis on long-term performance, we gradually expanded our global presence. Clients all over the world rely on Bry-Air because our solutions work in the most challenging circumstances and are supported by personnel that are aware of regional needs.

Our culture and people have been crucial above all. We have been able to adapt and thrive in markets with different climates, regulations, and industrial demands, majorly driven by a diverse workforce unified by a dedication to innovation, quality, and integrity.

What are some of the biggest challenges you faced while growing the company?

One of the earliest initiatives involved raising awareness regarding the essential importance of moisture regulation and air quality.

In numerous regions, industries lacked awareness of the hazards associated with inadequate humidity levels, making the process of establishing trust and educating the market a task that demanded perseverance and substantial technical expertise.

Ensuring consistent quality throughout our global expansion represented another significant challenge. Each market is characterised by its unique regulations, climatic conditions, and application requirements. Strong engineering, flexible manufacturing, and a solid worldwide support network were necessary to meet these varied demands.

The cultivation of talent was equally crucial. Building teams with the necessary scientific and engineering skills required a sustained investment in training and culture, and our job requires highly competent personnel.

We are always being pushed to innovate by the rapidly evolving landscape in industries like data centers, pharmaceuticals, and Li-ion batteries. Sustained R&D and a continual upgradation and innovation mindset are essential to staying ahead.

How has innovation shaped your journey so far?

Innovation has been at the core of our journey from the start. Our progress is a result of our dedication to using engineering brilliance and scientific depth to solve actual industrial difficulties.

Every milestone has been influenced by innovation, from inventing desiccant-based technologies to creating ultra-low dew point solutions and environmentally important systems for industries like the production of Li-ion batteries.

We have continuously made investments in R&D, establishing internal labs, application centres, and a culture that promotes experimentation and long-term thinking.

This emphasis has produced patents, exclusive technology, and solutions that have raised the bar for energy efficiency, moisture control, and air quality.

Innovation also characterises how we interact with clients, anticipating their needs according to international standards and providing cutting-edge, ecologically conscious solutions. It has assisted us in transitioning from a product provider to a reliable technological partner for global companies.

Can you share a breakthrough or milestone from your R&D teams that made a real difference?

The recent integration of breakthrough MOF (Metal-Organic Framework) into our latest pharma dehumidifier, P80x, has been a major milestone achieved by our R&D teams.

Exhibiting an ultra-porous structure, the technology gives an edge over the decade-old silica gel. It drives more than 50% energy savings by operating at a much lower regeneration temperature of 60-80°C while proficiently delivering 25% higher performance. It has set a new benchmark, revolutionising pharma manufacturing with sustainable dehumidification.

What new technologies are redefining air and environment control solutions today?

A wide range of sectors, from Li-ion battery manufacturing to pharma, electronics, and F&B, to name a few, are majorly governed by precise humidity control solutions achieved through sophisticated desiccant systems and ultra-low dew point technology.

Similarly, data centres, server rooms, labs, etc. depend on gas-phase filtration and smart purification technologies to maintain clean, stable, and contaminant-free environments.

In the process, the companies are not compromising on sustainability goals and resort to energy-efficient solutions such as heat recovery systems, adsorption chillers, low-dew-point jobs, etc. to showcase environmental responsibility.

Owing to this, the air management system is becoming more pronounced, intelligent, sustainable, and dependable by integrating IoT monitoring. It leads the front in facilitating predictive maintenance and intelligent optimisation by bringing about the confluence of precision engineering, digital intelligence, and energy efficiency.

Sustainability seems central to your approach, how do you balance it with profitability?

At Bry-Air sustainability and profitability go hand in hand, complementing each other rather than contradicting each other. We continuously innovate and evolve to support our clients in controlling expenses while helping them reduce their environmental footprint by offering them eco-friendly solutions.

The solutions majorly focus on steering waste reduction by integrating energy-efficient technologies that enhance the prospects of long-term value creation not just for clients but also for the business.

Each of our innovations, be it adsorption chillers or ultra-low dew point dehumidifiers, is designed to optimise performance, reliability, and energy efficiency to promote sustainability in all the operational procedures.

Thereby, we work as partners with the clients, sharing the same vision of attaining profitability with cutting-edge and sustainable solutions, underscoring environmental responsibility while meeting consumer demands.
