The UFBU represents multiple bank employee unions, and its decision could potentially disrupt normal banking operations across the country if the strike materializes.
The Bank stated that it is taking all necessary steps to ensure the smooth functioning of its branches and offices on the day of the proposed strike. However, it cautioned that despite these measures, the functioning of branches and offices may be affected depending on the extent of participation in the strike.
