Update: 2024-05-07 05:13 GMT

The tech world is abuzz with speculation as reports emerge suggesting that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite has received BIS certification, hinting at a possible imminent launch in the Indian market. While OnePlus has remained tight-lipped about any upcoming releases, enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting confirmation and details about this rumoured device.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite has purportedly appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting at an impending launch in India. Tipster Sanju Choudhary uncovered the alleged BIS listing and suggested that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. While the listing reveals little beyond the model number CPH2619, which is speculated to be the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite based on similarities to the Nord CE 3 Lite's model number, there is ambiguity regarding whether it could also be the Nord 4. Notably, the CPH2619 has been identified with a different chip on Geekbench, indicating a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, which aligns with tips from Yogesh Brar suggesting its association with the Nord 4. Additionally, Choudhary posits that the Nord CE4 Lite might be a rebranded OPPO A3, a device intended solely for the Chinese market, slated for an imminent launch.

While the BIS certification is a significant step towards the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite in India, enthusiasts will have to wait for an official announcement from OnePlus to confirm the details and availability of the device. Until then, the tech community will continue to speculate and eagerly await further updates on this intriguing addition to the Nord lineup.
