Hyderabad THE Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) jointly with National Stock Exchange of India Limited has organized a webinar on fund raising for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups through capital markets and role of intermediaries in channeling funds. The key note speakers like Abhishek Goud, Sr. Manager-Business Development, Southern Region, National Stock Exchange of India Limited, Jinesh N Mehta, Managing Director, Athos Capital Advisors Private Limited. Ramakanth Inani, President FTCCI, K Bhaskar Reddy, Sr VP, Anil Agarwal, VP, KK Maheshwari, Chairperson, Capital Markets and Investor Protection Committee FTCCI, Sanjay Reddy, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Silly Monks Entertainment Ltd attended.

Abhishek Goud, Sr Manager-Business Development, Southern Region, NSE said, "we have been working to create an environment for entrepreneurs to access the capital markets as a new and viable option for raising capital to scale up the businesses and compete globally. The focus has been to bring quality SMEs to the capital markets to establish credible platform for the SMEs and investors." Ramakanth Inani said, "Capital market is vital for inclusive growth in terms of wealth distribution and making capital safer for investors. They create greater financial inclusion by introducing new products and services tailored to suit borrowers' project needs as well as investors' preference for risk and return in line with international stock markets, Indian capital markets have also grown exponentially in the last two-three decades. The growth has been in every sphere."
