Crude oil futures on Tuesday declined 2.12 per cent to Rs7,382 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading 0.29 per cent lower at $88.56 per barrel, while Brent crude declined 0.43 per cent to $90.32 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for September delivery fell Rs160 or 2.12 per cent to Rs7,382 per barrel with a business volume of 7,738 lots.
