University of Hyderabad and University of South Wales Forge International Partnership

The University of Hyderabad (UoH) and the University of South Wales (USW) have taken a significant step towards fostering global partnerships in education and research. A delegation from USW, comprising Dr. Andrew Thompson and Mr. Vishnu Dhanapal, visited UoH on 3rd June 2025 to explore potential collaborations.
They met UoH Vice Chancellor, Prof. B.J. Rao, to discuss potential partnerships. Prof. Brahmanadam, Director, Office for International Affairs, Prof. GVRK Acharyulu, Dean-School of Management Studies and Dr. Ramesh Kumar Mishra, Dean of School of Medical Science, participated in the discussions along with officials from the Public Relations office.
The discussions between the two universities led to several promising initiatives, including:
1. Knowledge Transfer Webinars: Focused on digital innovation in healthcare management.
2. Staff Exchange Program: Facilitating reciprocal visits and research projects.
3. Collaborative Student Project: Mixed student teams working on projects in Spring 2026.
4. Joint Curriculum Development: Planning joint curricula in healthcare management.
These initiatives will enhance research, education, and industry partnerships between both institutions.
