Hyderabad: Heavy rains have once again returned to Hyderabad, causing widespread waterlogging and flooding in many parts of the city. Showers, influenced by a low-pressure system, have drenched several localities including Secunderabad, Boinpally, Saroornagar, Kothapet, Malakpet, Dilsukhnagar, Maredpally, Alwal, Saidabad, Tirumalagiri, Begumpet, Santoshnagar, Chaderghat, Yusufguda, Ameerpet, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Essarnagar, Erragadda, Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Amberpet, Madhapur, Kukatpally, Nampally, Kothi, and Lakdikapool.

Due to continuous rainfall, roads in several low-lying areas have been submerged, disrupting daily life. Commuters are struggling as floodwater has covered major roads, causing severe traffic jams. Overflowing manholes have added to the chaos.

Power outages have also been reported in many regions, compounding the distress of residents.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has deployed emergency response teams to tackle the situation. Relief measures such as pumping out stagnant water and clearing clogged drains are currently underway.

Meanwhile, rain has also been reported in other districts of Telangana, signaling continued weather disruption across the state.
